Mihir Rai
President
Mihir Rai is a 3L from Dallas, TX. He earned a BA in political science from UCLA. Outside of law school, he enjoys watching movies, collecting shoes, and exploring Philadelphia’s food scene. He serves on the board of Penn Carey Law's South Asian Law Student Association and is also an associate editor of The Regulatory Review. He is excited to serve on CSR this year and continue strengthening the Penn Carey Law community!

Sujin Cho
Vice President
Sujin Cho is a 1L from Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a BSBA in business administration and finance from Georgia Institute of Technology and is interested in the intersection of business and law. Outside of school, Sujin enjoys spending time with friends, meeting new people, exploring restaurants, cooking, baking, and generally having a good time. She is excited to serve on CSR this year!

Paul Welfer
Treasurer
Paul Welfer is an ML candidate originally from New York City. He earned a BA in American Civilization, magna cum laude; MS in Organizational Dynamics; and MPhil from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of CSR, Paul serves as Co-President of the Master in Law Society and Director of Alumni Relations for the Graduate and Professional Student Assembly. For fun, Paul is an avid runner who agrees, “The race is not always to the swift but to those who keep on running.”

EMMA KOPP
3L REPRESENTATIVE
Emma Kopp is a 3L from Cleveland Heights, Ohio and graduated from Denison University with degrees in Anthropology/Sociology and Religion. Prior to law school, she worked in the nonprofit sector; most recently, she was at the Cleveland Foundation where she served on the grantmaking team and coordinated the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards. In her free time, she enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, going for runs, reading, and exploring Philadelphia. She is looking forward to serving the Penn Carey Law community!

Lindsay Schechter
2L Representative
Lindsay Schechter is a 2L from Harrison, New York. Lindsay graduated from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) in 2020. While at Cornell, Lindsay minored in Disability Studies and Inequality Studies as well as worked as a research assistant at the Yang Tan Disability Institute and as a bartender. Prior to law school, Lindsay worked at Goldman Sachs on the Employment Law and Executive Compensation and Benefits Legal Teams as well as at Mastercard on the Employment Law Team. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, re-reading Harry Potter, and trying new restaurants.
